Medicinal Mushrooms are excellent immune boosters and adaptogens – meaning they increase our resistance to stress, boost endurance & stamina, etc. Maca is also an adaptogen, energy booster and mood balancer. We all know how good coconut oil is for us, and adding a spoon to your warm beverage not only instills an abundance of good fats but also gives the drink a deliciously velvety mouth feel.
1 cup milk of choice – I use coconut milk
1 teaspoon coconut oil
1 heaped teaspoon mushroom powder – try Mason’s Mushrooms from Superfeast
1 heaped teaspoon cacao
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon maca
In a small saucepan, gently heat all the ingredients together, stirring well to make sure none of the powders clump together. Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy!
